master luthier Charles Fox has advanced guitar construction and design into 'another realm' with 'ergo.'

His advanced 'ergo' design--an unusual 12-string version at left--is available in 'noir' (a black guitar), 'blanc,' (or natural), in both 6-string steel and nylon.

Charles Fox has been involved in the development of modern American lutherie for over 35 years. Mr. Fox enjoys an international reputation as an artisan, designer, consultant and educator. His original design concepts, such as the thin-line acoustic guitar, as well as his building techniques and production devices, such as the universal workboard and the universal side bender, are used by guitar makers and factories around the world today.

"Any intelligent discussion must acknowledge the difference from objective observation and subjective observation. An important part of my work as a guitar consultant to players is remaining as neutral and objective as possible. I am coming out here, in print, stating this: The above qualities attributed by Charles Fox to his 'ergo' guitars, have, in my best objective observation, been consistently present in the several 'ergo' guitars I have played. The 6-string ergo noir that we have here for sale and this 12-string 12-fret ergo noir certainly have these qualities, in my opinion. I leave it up to the player to be subjective. My personal mechanical objective observations will only mean that these ergo instruments are more likely to appeal to a wider variety of discriminating players. Why?
