comparable prices with a greater depth of quality--our specialty.
We can help you and your whole family enrich your lives.
In terms of the audio
experience, it is a lot like needing glasses for many years and finally getting prescription lenses. You think you are seeing O.K. until you have something clear and wonderful to compare! When
you first hear audiophile quality in your home, your music is often listened to with intention for the first time. It is no longer "background music." The CDs in which you've
invested so much money are now more pleasing to the ear. They are smoother and more natural with more beautiful detail and an airiness quality that a lesser system cannot reveal. Add an SACD
player and more possibilities open up!
More real fun (and savings) shows up when you add a Red Rose Music "Rose Petal" phono cartridge and a moderately
priced Rega turntable. Now you can draw upon the huge recorded music repertoire that is available at thrift stores and garage sales for 25 cents to a dollar--the vinyl record album! Until you
have heard a record on the Red Rose Music System, you have no idea of the hidden quality that is waiting for you there. And without most of the cracle and pop!
Let us help you
simplify your music system while increasing your listening pleasure. You can build your system gradually so that you won't have to sell anything to upgrade your system later. Many of our clients
have heard the Red Rose Music system while visiting for guitars. They are always enthusiastic about what they hear.
Also note that components and speakers from the
different makers we represent can sometimes be successfully combined to offer greater flexibility for your individual audio solution." --Richard

Music Audiophile Stereo for your home "After doing our homework, we have begun an association with Red Rose Music. FGC is their only non-corporate dealer. Same
products, same pricing, and Richard's guidance in coordinating your system at no extra charge to you. The name Mark Levinson is well known in audiophile circles. Mark is President and CEO of
Red Rose Music. This is his third company, after evolving through his career from Mark Levinson Audio to Cello Music, and finally Red Rose Music. We purchased his middle-of-the-line stereo
system as a demo for our visiting clients to experience. The choice was simple; it was the appropriate size and power for the size of our living room/studio. (To discuss your room requirements,
give us a call.) We chose the integrated preamp/amplifier called the "Passion" model. A pair of "Spirit" speakers on their recommended stands (easy assembly required) are
connected with the proprietary 6-foot speaker cables they supplied at an additional charge. Another key component added to this satisfying sound chain is the SONY XA777ES. This has been one
of the better CD and SACD combinations. We chose "French Sycamore" for the veneer over the speakers and stands. Rosewood or Cherry are also available. Under the veneers are MDF
material that is almost acoustically dead. This guarantees that most of the energy from the speaker and ribbon tweeter is projected forward to the ear--not lost to the floor. The speakers are
smaller than I am used to, and that is good. The sound is all there, and large as life! A very transparent and natural sound presents itself from the system without noticably coloring the
original recordings. Playing SACD's is an extra special treat. This is the "Master Tape" quality experience that CDs promised but never delivered when CD technology first came on the
scene. Now, you can enjoy a relatively affordable, enriching stereo system in your home. I have heard this quality in fancy audiophile stores from components that cost $40,000 and more. This
hype-free system is only $7,000 with matched cables. Hook up your DVD player, your TV, your CD player...there are four line inputs. The circuit is so beautifully designed that no EQ is required
or desired. Aside from the input selectors, it's just On-Off and a smooth Volume knob." You'll appreciate this quick story: Annetta, whom I've known for 25 years, has always had stereo
music on in the background while doing other tasks. Since we are now using the Red Rose Music system, Annetta stops and sits on the sofa to listen to music with intention. She loves the reality
of the experience. She commented on how it doesn't make her ears tired. Annetta wanted me add that she can hear sounds on her favorite CDs that she never heard before on our former Sony top line
consumer system (that we replaced with this). I enjoy this Red Rose Music system immensely, and recommend that you get one. It doesn't take trained ears to appreciate the difference.
Well-recorded music sounds lush with good separation between the instruments. Close your eyes...and the musicians sound like they are in the room with you. Treat your family to a quality of life
upgrade that will add some extra happiness around your home!" --Richard $6,000 for the Passion Integrated Amplifier, Spirit speakers on stands, and a pair
of 6-foot speaker cables (custom lengths available). Phono section is separate. Other individually configured Red Rose Music systems are available for your home from $2,000 to $100,000. We offer
all the products on Red Rose Music's web site at the same prices. Obviously, your support in buying from us helps guarantee that FGC can remain of service to all for many years to come! | | | | Requisite Audio 5.1 Surround Theater Loudspeaker System for CDs and DVDs "Most people are
impressed with the loud surround sound they hear in movie theaters. Until now, the drama of this relatively new surround sound perspective has been implemented with an older, established
loudspeaker technology, however. Now that our ears have become accustomed to being engulfed in the whooshing of car chases and dinosaurs attacking from all directions, there are many "good
ears" that are looking forward to a more musical and warm delivery system for the 5.1 sound. Recently, the world got its chance. DTS (Digitial Theater Systems) has brought a whole new
reality perspective in how we experience audio for both DVDs and CDs (many CDs are now produced with 5.1 Surround sound in addition to being backward compatible with the "old" stereo
sound with which we are familiar). Out of all the talented monitor designers in the Country, Danny McKinney's team at Requisite Audio Engineering was singled out by DTS to supply their new
loudspeaker technology for the prestigious DTS Demo at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Convention in Las Vegas. The lines were sometimes lengthy to get in to the DTS room to hear their
famous annual demo. We listened to Graham Nash's CD, "Songs For Survivors," produced for 5.1 Surround. Sitting on a stool, just 2 feet in front of a wall of speakers, the sound was
cranked up high. Then, after all the talking about what this system would do...I got the experience first hand. In a typical theater experience, a volume level that is too loud produces a
feeling of anxiety in my chest. Has that happened to you? Also, I feel sound pressure pushing uncomfortably against my eardrums. The Requisite Audio system experience at DTS was remarkably
different for me. The loud volume sounded natural to my ears. No pressure. In fact, though rich and full at low volume, the system, as levels increased, drew me in to the music more deeply. As
the volume rose, I felt a thrill in my chest and a big smile cracked my face into a wide grin. I am happy to report that this system, one that will undoubtedly find its way into new theaters
and that are built in the future, can now find its way into your home--scaled to the size of your room! Another major bonus in your system, will be the cables that come with
this system to interconnect with your TV and receiver (in reasonable lengths). "Stream Theory Cable" delivers a musical, natural sound experience. Not a filtering or active cable,
"Stream Theory Cable" is a device that doesn't get in the way or alter what the hardware is doing. Though volume seems to increase, what is actualy occuring is that for the first time,
you are not experiencing a loss in volume! Custom, proprietary hand made power "Stream Theory Cables" complete the System, and ensure a quieter, more stable
environment for your favorite music and video. (Just remember to leave the house once in a while...sunshine is a great source of Vitamin D!) You will not find this system in even the finest
audiophile store. This combination of technological advances is currently beyond what is available to the broader market. As usual, you get the same direct pricing from FGC as you get from the
maker. No extra people are inbetween. As you have grown to expect with FGC, one fair price is what everyone pays for the goods around here. You can support the ongoing free services from Fine
Guitar Consultants by simply choosing to buy through us. We are very proud of Danny McKinney and his design team--and proud to offer his great work as a consultant and seller of his
equipment. So far, his products have been purchased for the purpose of recording, mastering, and re-mastering a diverse group of artists, including: Garth Brooks, Nat King Cole, Eminem, Tom
Waits, Judy Garland, Mark Knopfler, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra, Ricky Scaggs, George Strait, The Wilson Sisters, Kelly Clarkson, and more. Hundreds of studios and
producers throughout the world use Danny's hand wired pieces, including Capitol Records and Georgetown Masters on Music Row in Nashville. To see specs on the new (medium size
theater) Requisite 5.1 Loudspeaker System, click here.)Remember, this system is made to order for your room area. You can even drive passive versions of Requisite Audio Engineering speakers
with Red Rose Music integrated amplifiers. Call Richard for more details. $90,000 for the DTS Demo system. Other individually configured systems available for
your home theater from $18,600 with the full experience in a smaller living room or den. If you are just after the audiophile stereo experience, a stereo pair is $6,000 (and will beat the
$22,000 speaker pairs out there in an A/B comparison in terms of accuracy and tonal quality). To see specs on a home-sized Requisite 5.1 Loudspeaker System, click

 | | | 2-2003 Requisite Audio Engineering PAL Class "A" Tube
Mic Pre/Optical Limiter Compressors Each are single channel, 2-rack space units, linked as a stereo pair with an outboard, stand-alone power supply that powers
both units. Our thanks to Danny McKinney for designing this studio line that is getting the highest praise by reviewers, studios, and recording artists all over the world. The sound is warmly
musical and natural. These pieces deliver the hottest analog signal possible to your digital recorder without audible distortion. This is the "golden front end" for recording
everything from guitars, vocals, drums and basses to any line level device you need to record. This front end pair will make whatever recording system you plug into sound better than
you can imagine! When money is limited in a recording studio, this is the place to spend it for the greatest and most musically warm effect on the finished product. Easy to use, it will become
your best friend in the studio. By the way...the compression is audibly transparent! Nail that note...nail the needle...no distortion...virtually no audible impact on the music. A-mazing. The
PAL by Requisite Audio Engineering is winning over engineers and producers daily in blindfold A-B comparisons. Now, new proprietary capacitors have been added to put this unit so far out in
front of their competitors, that we are here to say the choice is clearer than ever. A-B this unit with anything you have access to. The only inevitable problem is likely to be the availablity
as word gets out even more. These are made by one man (Danny McKinney) with one highly skilled assistant--one piece at a time. To read more about the PAL, click

Each mono unit is $3,000 | | | | New 2004 Standel Switchmaster 30 Amplifier (demo) ready for delivery "Stage to Studio" From stage to studio, Standel is branching out with sweet sounding pre-amp, amplifier, and speaker distortion as the "old school" company covers new categories. Their
legendary hand made "killer clean" amps are now joined by some "blue" and "rocking" cousins! For electric guitarists that need all the true tonal possibilities in
one all-tube amp that IS NOT a modeling amp--this is the new standard. You don't have to fight this amp to get it to perform. It is naturally, dynamically responsive and has no bad or unusable
settings. One clean channel that can be set in a range to slightly overdrive sweetly, if needed--and one distortion channel with the full range from soulful blues to heavy metal--all dialable
and attack sensitive. A Pentode-Triode mode switch takes the 50 watts down to 25 watts in one click. With the Full power-Half power switch (usable is either mode), you can move from Cathode
biased to Fixed biased increasing all tone possibilities. Footswitch provided can take you from rythym to lead (like a "soundman in a box!") You can have full-on distortion at whisper
quiet room volume--or any level you choose. Mic the two Celestion Alnico Blue speakers to take the tone to the people. This is one of the ultimate rock experiences in a combo amp! Lighted front
and rear panels. Open back trapezoidal architecture. 'Salt and Pepper' deluxe woven grille cloth. (Color and materials are different from red Switchmaster 50B15 shown at right. This one is
covered in black Tolex.) $3,490 | | | |
