Here at FGC, we have available, on a first come, first served basis, the remaining amplifiers under s.n. #64, historically tying in with the first 64 25L15 amps that were handmade in the 1950's. Available at this time, are: S34, S36, S41, S42, S52, S53, S54, S55, S56, S57, S58, S59, S60, S61, S62, S63, and S64. This quiet 26 (true) watt Class "A" amplifier looks like Chet Atkins' amp did when it was new (Since the mid fifties, he made every recording using his old serial #20 from the original 64 Standel 25L15 amps made).

SOLD 1999 Standel Amplifier 25L15 Vintage Plus s.n. #32 with "1051 upgrade"
There has just been a breakthrough upgrade announced by Standel on their 25L15 Vintage Plus amp. This has been the flagship product in Danny McKinney's re-birthing of the original Standel Company. Owners of current amps of this model will have the opportunity to upgrade their amps at a cost to be announced soon. This all black "Mellohide" amp has just been upgraded for the new prettier tone circuit. This Class "A" all tube amp, in our many years of experience, seems to be the finest sounding clean amp we've heard. Our thanks to Danny McKinney for making his amp in "an open achitecture" to allow players to have the benefits of sonic improvements whenever possible--even after purchase! Photos at right are correct model--but picture this one in all black (with same oxblood grill cloth).

Standel is branching out with sweet sounding pre-amp, amplifier, and speaker distortion as the "old school" company covers new categories. Their legendary hand made "killer clean" amps are now joined by some "blue" and "rocking" cousins! This is the new modern-day "Flagship" of the Standel line. For elctric guitarists that need all the true tonal possibilities in one totally tube amp that IS NOT a modeling amp this is the new standard. You don't have to fight this amp to get it to perform. It is naturally, dynamically responsive and has no bad or unusable settings! one clean channel that can be set in a range to slightly overdrive sweetly, if needed--and one distortion channel with the full range from soulful blues to heavy metal, all dialable and attack sensitive. A Pentode-Triode mode switch takes the 50 watts down to 25 watts in one click. With the Full power-Half power switch (usable is either mode), you can move from Cathode biased to Fixed biased increasing all tone possibilities. Footswitch provided can take you from rythym to lead (like a "soundman in a box!") You can have full-on distortion at whisper quiet room volume--or any level you choose. Mic the 4-Celestion Vintage 10's to take the tone to the people. This is probably one of the ultimate rock experiences on wheels! Lighted front and rear panels. Open back trapezoidal architecture.
